Founded in 1931 by Dr. Henry Clifford Kinley, the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research (IDMR) is a non-denominational nonprofit organization dedicated to religious and scientific research. Dr. Kinley received a Divine Vision and Revelation from Yahweh-Elohim, in which he was shown the complete Purpose, Pattern, and Plan. This inspired him to devote his life to sharing this true gospel. Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research branch schools were established to spread his teachings through religious services across the United States, Canada, and other countries.
